Resistance Training Instruction - Trunk DVD

...DVD Menu 7/10 Well, when you put your DVD in, if you have it, if not, well read this anyways, it goes into the DVD Menu, and there is some freaky background music, and there is a decent background, the links to the rest of the DVD, and a feature in a smallish box in the middle, showing you clips from the film. Story 9/10 The Story is about, 2 saiyans, Trunks and Gohan, to defend the Earth from 2 evil Androids, Android #17 and Android #18. But everything goes wrong, and it is a struggle to make the Earth safe again. Characters / Performances 8/10 The performances are ok, well you cant exactly rate it if it is animated, but I still think it is good, as in what the animaters made them do, which is really good. Soundtrack 8/10 The credits music was exseptionally good, it started off as a sort of love song, then some hardcore action music... Read review

Advantages: good film, set into the future of DragonBall Z
Disadvantages: too short

.... Nameks have the power to create the Dragonballs, like the Dragonballs on Namek, they are much bigger, and you can make 3 wishes, but they are not as powerful as the ones on Earth. THE HISTORY OF TRUNKS At the beginning of the feature, you see the two evil Androids being released. Then after that, you see Goku die from the illness, and then you see all of the Z fighters get destroyed by Android 17 and 18. First Super Saiyan Vegeta, then Piccolo, the Tien and Chouzu, then Yamcha and even Krillin died from these terrible menaces. 13 Years Later Now Trunks and Gohan are older, Gohan is a Super Saiyan, and Trunks is... well he helps out his mum Bulma carry the shopping. Trunks finds Gohan, while Trunks is on his way to try and stop the two evil androids, and Gohan intercepts him. Trunks requests Gohan to train him and Trunks actually begs... Read review

Advantages: It is well dubbed and sticks to the storyline
Disadvantages: Does not go into enough detail about the rest of the characters, e.g. Tenshinhan and Yamcha.

...This has to be one of the best Dragonball movies/specials. It is dubbed (voiced) by the actual voice actors from the series, everything is translated how it should be and goes into more detail of the existing story line in the series unlike "Super Saiya Son Goku" which was badly dubbed and some words weren't translated properly. It shows the relationship between Trunks, his mother and Gohan and his hate for the Androids after they killed his friends and family. It really goes into a lot more detail than we were shown in the series, for example, how Trunks went Super Saiyan, how he was trained, the damage the androids caused in his world and how it affected Trunks. The story shows Trunks as a young boy and the first coming of the androids. It tells of their malice and how if affects Trunks. This made him want to train and Gohan... Read review
