But Wait,can the trio of elite Navy pilots rescue the day? Josh Lucas, Jessica Biel, and Jamie Fox,(not that well known to me)as the pilots make up the main characters of a Moviethat at time can be breathtaking,if not at times far fetched. Those of us that enjoy the slam bang thank you mam type of Action will probably be on a bit of a high with this one,but certainly not one to turn out on a wet night for. ...Anyone considering buying this then i highly recommend it. The dvd's come in a fabulous case which folds out, their are 8 dvd's in all and one cd with all the sountracks from every episode. Included with this boxset is a set of postcards and to top all that each dvd is individually numbered out of 5000 which makes this set highly collectable. The story is of the Tracy family who live on an island where all their crafts are hidden, waiting for rescue missions. Thunderbird 1 which is piloted by Scott Tracy Thunderbird 2 which is piloted by Virgil Tracy Thunderbird 3 which is piloted by Alan Tracy the astronaut Thunderbird 4 the underwater vehicle driven by Gordon Tracy and Thunderbird 5 which is located in space to recieve all emergency calls and this is stationed by John Tracy. ...their lives. A few of them manage to survive and with only one gun between 4 men they have to make their journey back to allied ground and treachorously make their way behind enemy lines. Along the way they rescue a British Pilot who they decide to help as he is carrying reconassance photographs. This film allows you to connect to the characters and learn their past and their future dreams. There'll be times when you want to cheer and urge them on, then again there will be times when you want to cry. This is their story and it is damn well told. I cannot fault the film. it is absolutely amazing, the effects are just as good as saving private ryan and if truth be told the storyline and characters are somewhat better. By the end of this film you'll definately have wanted to have been an allied soldier fighting in Belgium. The DVD i purchased... Read review
