Reeker - more like stinker
Review of Reeker DVD by christianfilmcritic

Advantages: Some moments of inspired ingenuity
Disadvantages: Poor plot which is riddled with holes and terrible special effects

● Synopsis When five students, heading for a huge party, find themselves stranded at a recently deserted motel they try not to let it dampen their mood. But when they start to discover mutilated bodies and a foul stench in the air, they begin to fear for their lives. ● Opinion Maybe with the name "Reeker" the films creative team was trying to give us a subtle warning that is that this film stinks. There are so many things wrong with ...
...reviews and critics have actually praised it, but strangely they have. When it comes to the plot "Reeker" is less than original, a group of students stuck in the middle of nowhere face a gruesome death, come on, been there, watched that and got the proverbial t-shirt. Now Something Really Does Stink!
Review of Reeker DVD by  sghawken

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: The acting, production, script, and the list goes on!

...like it". Needless to say the arrival of the Reeker DVD gave me some pleasure, but were my expectations of the movie achieved? A car moves through the desert inside are a family on the way to some far off destination, inside are a mother and father their son and a dog. The mother and son are playing travelling games while the father sleeps in the back of the car. In a moment of distraction the mother ploughs the car into a deer killing it instantly. The car swerves uncontrollably into the ditch at the side of the road. All get out of the car unscathed; in fact the only one to suffer was the poor deer. As normality returns the family hear there dog attacking something in a bush, the father walks behind the same bush. To the horror of the mother and child the dog comes crawling out from the bush, unfortunately only half the dog is left... Read review
