Overall the film is entertaining, if you're a Dolph fan its most likely you'll enjoy it. There is some light humour in bits and some good action scenes with explosions.
A downside is the ending was very dull and predictable, I feel this film could have been made more exciting towards the end, but if you enjoy lots of guns and blood its a decent ending!

Dolphs character is Nikolai Rachenko, who is a Soviet agent trained as a human killing machine. At the beginning Nikolai is assigned to infiltrate a rebel African guerilla uprising, eventually he is put in a prison after a little sing song and shoving in a bar, seeing Dolph sing and push people around was quite amusing.
In prison he meets an american journalist Dewey and Kallunda, and finds himself drawn to the guerillas' cause, the three men then go on the run through the desert to find camp. Dewey is one of the highlights of the film, he mixes humour and deep emotion and anger all together and makes a interesting character which without him, the film wouldnt have been as good, he was definately needed.
After getting to the rebal camp with his new friends, Nikolai is locked up for 'safety reasons' but easily escapes and attempts the assassination of the leader (what he was orginally planning to do) BUT he is caught and left in the desert for his old Soviet pals to find.

(Gremlins, Stand By Me) plays central character Tommy. Using children in horror films is always very risky but here Feldman plays the part well, considering the material on offer. Amongst the vacationers we have Crispin Glover (Back to the Future) doing a typical shy guy routine, a glimpse of his later George McFly performance. Ted White builds upon and improves Jason Voorhees character. His emotionless posture, no doubt influenced by the Michael Myers character from Halloween, creates a more powerful, relentless and iconic villain than ever. And finally there?s Peter Barton (Sunset Beach). Okay that one?s just a personal favourite reference.
Director Joseph Zito, of the infamous free film with your DVD player RedScorpion, keeps the action at a good pace, making as much sense of it as possible. While there are few scary moments it?s easy to ...
