Five more adventures of a little girl's quest to bring hope, light and colour to the universe. The episodes included are: 'Mom', 'A Horse Of A Different Colour', 'Queen Of The... more...Sprites', 'Star Sprinkled' and 'Chasing Rainbows'.
Advantages: Cute and good moral teachings for youngsters Disadvantages: Won't appeal as widly to boys
As a now 21 year old RainbowBrite brings back lovely memories of my youth.
The story of a young girl who finds a rainbow belt, and with it can bring colour to the world.
Characters include starlight, the white horse companion of rainbow, who using the rainbiow belt can ride on rainbows helping get from A to B a lot quicker! He is both charming and brave as a character, and even now I find myself wishing I owned him!
Bad guys with names to suit such as lurky and Murky. Who bring a bit of extra humour to the show.
All the adventures are easy to follow with a good moral message behind all, good always prevails and friendship and kindness are dipicted with the rainbow as its symbol. These short heartwarming stories apear timeless as many small children in my family still watch them thanks to it being released on DVD.
I would ...
Advantages: friendly and non violent children's entertainment Disadvantages: annoying voice over introductions to each and every episode
transformed into RainbowBrite and defeats the darkness. She has foes in Murky and Lurky, who try to defeat her and turn the worlds dreary. Along her adventures she comes to earth one day and encounters a human child named Brian and his dog, and he helps RainbowBrite keep our own world safe from the darkness.

By saying serial series, I mean that in true serial fashion, each episode is part of the larger story. That story being what i explained earlier. So basically, it is as if they took a movie, and cut it into chapters, with the annoying voceover theme before each chapter ...

RainbowBrite is a blast from the past for me it makes me feel really old and so when I saw it sitting on the shelf at my local post office I had to buy it for my daughter or maybe a little for me as well.
I started to think back to my young child hood when I used love watching this along with many other things for that age group.
Then I started to wonder am I really getting that old am i?
The price wasn't bad I paid £2.99 for it and it contains five short programs on it
There's also a second DVD which is RainbowBriteVolume2, the post office had ran out of Volume2 so I couldn't buy it so I just bought the first one.
