Rainbow Brite is a blast from the past for me it makes me feel really old and so when I saw it sitting on the shelf at my local post office I had to buy it for my daughter or maybe a little for me as well. I started to think back to my young child hood when I used love watching this along with many other things for that age group. Then I started to wonder am I really getting that old am i? The price wasn't bad I paid £2.99 for it and it contains five short programs on it There's also a second DVD which is Rainbow Brite Volume 2, the post office had ran out of Volume 2 so I couldn't buy it so I just bought the first one.
Beginning of Rainbow land Part 1 and Part 2 ==================================
A girl called Bite finds a belt called colour belt starts to quest for colour and beauty to the place where there is darkness and totally unpleasant is Along the way Brite rescues the colour kids from the bad and start to create Rainbow Land
Peril in the Pits ============
A boy named Brian is a boy on Earth he becomes a totally multi-coloured when he walks into a rainbow. So Rainbow Brite brings Brian to Rainbow Land to correct the problem, along the way Brian has a great adventure and stops the bad guy stealing Rainbow Brites colour belt.
Mighty Monstromurk Menace Part 1 ===========================
Murky has got a terrifying monster imprisoned to keep his place as number one bad guy but the nasty monster escapes and becomes a big menace for both Murky and Rainbow Brite.
Mighty Monstromunk Menace Part 2 ===========================
The Monsromurk does total havoc in Rainbow Land and Murky captures Rainbow brite and Rainbow Brite has to find away of escaping
You will have to watch them if you want to know more of the story lines but you pick them up quite quickly being old cartoons and I mean old cartoons the graphics an't great the story lines aren't as good as some of today's programs for kids but still you have to love them if it was something you watched when you were a kid
Anyway there really isn't any special features apart from being able to pick play all episodes or you can play them one at a time and what order you want when you want And a bit you can click on for welcome to Fox Kids which is a 2 Minute and 27 Seconds of Fox Kids advertisement for there other programs they do
Over all if you don't expect to much of this DVD its okay I enjoyed watching it because of my believed child hood but if your not a girlie cartoon fan I wouldn't suggest watching it hehehe.

I LOVE Raibow Brite and I have been looking for a DVD for ages. It sounds great. I used to have a video where Rainbow Brite said my name, it was all about a birthday - My Birthday! I loved it but the tape snapped. :-( Good review. Donna x
