Advantages: Great story, Cajuns Disadvantages: Not one to watch over and over
...next in charge is a rather useless man called Casper, who doesn?t seem to have an discretion and wants to play everything by the book.
They aim to get out of the swamp lands as quickly as they can but that?s easier said than done. Some of the team seem to lose it a bit. They capture a Cajun and destroy his house but now a whole group of unseen Cajuns are after them and picking them off one by one in this American jungle. There?s dissent within the group as well. Some of the men lack any sort of discipline and some are just useless and some are completely gone in the head.
What I thought
This is one of those films I saw ages ago but it always stayed with me and I always wanted to see it again. Then luckily enough I saw it for £3 in a second hand DVD shop. It?s an excellent film. It?s a war film, a film of survival...

Advantages: Entertaining, one for a girls night in. Disadvantages: A bit soppy and a predictable ending.

Advantages: It is a great watch Disadvantages: None
....
The old gentleman the children befriend is actually to do with the railway and the old gentleman helps find a russians the children help stop a train crashing.
The way the acting is done in this film is great and they have done it really well and for Jenny aggutter she is a great actor and she plays the mum well. The actors who play the children were chosen really well.
The film is for all the family, children of any age could watch this. The film looks in the early victorian era maybe later its not set in todays era.
The railway children is a great family movie and i have watched the original version and the remake I would reccommend watching this film. What i liked about the film was when the mother and children moved the country and the children found things to do and always waved to the same train and made friends with an old...
