Here we are in 1986 and you can feel the crowd getting wilder. There is adrenalin in the air and suddenly, they appear in their full glory. When Freddie starts belting out Tie your mother down, you want to be there with the crowd. Never has there been a band that more relaxed on stage. Freddie loved nothing more than to get the crowd joining in and he certainly got that when he gave a rendition of In the lap of the Gods. This is one DVD that will not date, even if you played this in 2086! It's always strange to see bands doing other bands songs, and yet Queen can carry it off, especially when they do You're so square, Hello Mary Lou and Tutti Frutti. As someone who remembers these songs the first time round, ( I'm showing my age now!) it is always nice to hear them from Freddie. I have to say, I always marvel watching Brian May playing the Brighton Rock solo. You can see him get so lost in the music, and you feel that he forgets where he is. May he carry on rocking with Queen, though to me, it will never be Queen again. Back to the DVD, I felt that everyone watching that concert suddenly came together as Freddie blasted out We will rock you, Friends will be friends and We are the Champions. As the crowd sang with him, you can see how touched he is, and you know that he knew that this would be the last tour for him. What a shame that young fans of Queen cannot go to Wembley Stadium the way it was, to see where they played. On disc two, you have clips of Fridays concert and I didn't get the same feeling with that one. It seemed too raw and pointless to add on this DVD. Watch Disc one and enjoy!!
