Advantages: A fantastic Tarantino film, never a dull moment. Disadvantages: Blink and you may just lose the plot.
Having long been a fan of Director Quentin Tarantino, it should come as no surprise that 'Pulp Fiction' is one of my favourite films of all time. 'Pulp Fiction' was the 1994 follow up to 'Reservoir Dogs', a film I first saw at a young age and fell in love with instantaneously. Much like the way in which the films of Tim Burton tend to have a magical feel about them, Tarantino has a similarly distinctive directorial style, one of which I myself am ... ...brought John Travolta success in the 90's and was just a general all round cracker of a film. I get excited about the films of few directors, however every time a new Tarantino film is released I am amongst the first to get down to the cinema and view it. 'Pulp Fiction' is a film which I can view time and time again without ever tiring of, one that I can never get enough of and always enjoy watching. If it weren't a Tarantino film then I feel that ...

Advantages: full of great actors Disadvantages: not everyones type of film
...The pulpfictiondvd is great and does justice to the classic film. It is available on a 1 or 2 disc special. PulpFiction is one of Tarintino's greatest films. I think it is a great film. one to be watched again and again as you spot something different each time you watch it, and as not everyone understands what is going on first time the more you watch it the clearer it becomes. Visit www.play.com for great prices on PulpFiction and other great films! PulpFiction seems like a ganster movie but it isn't like others in its genre the way it jumps from one event to another keeps you interested all the way through and makes you wonder what will happen next, although it can be confusing to begin with until you realise what is happening. It has a great cast from Uma Thurman, John Travolta, Samuel L Jackson,Bruce Willis and an apperance by...

Advantages: None Disadvantages: Bad picture, bad sound, non-anormorphic, no extras
...A wonderful film let down by a shoddy disc.Bueana Vista have done a terrible dis-service to PulpFiction and to DVD users, by giving it us featureless DVD with a really not very good at all picture.
I bought mine and promptly took it back, it's just not what I bought into DVD for.
On the other hand if you have a multi region DVD player then the Australian Region 4 verison is superb, it has an excellent picture, excellent sound, extras, in other words it's how it should be over here.
I would say don't buy this DVD over here because it as though we are being taken for a ride....

Advantages: Great Stories, Great Acting Disadvantages: None
...Owning PulpFiction on DVD is as important as eating (but not as important as drinking).
This Tarantino masterpiece weaves it's way in and out of the lives of two hitmen (John Travolta and Samuel L Jackson). Their life's philosophy's range from what is the best burger to the importance and sexual implication of a foot massage.
Each story line is a gem in it's own right. Each character is played brilliantly (Vincent and Wolf being my favourites). The film shows the glamour and vilness of drugs, has cold-blooded murder (by people you start to admire), has kidnapping and buggery.....
but to top it all, it has one of the best dance scenes ever when John Travolta and Uma Thurman enter the Twisting competition.
This film earns it's 18 certificate in all of the storylines, it's not for the faint hearted, but remins one of my all time...

DVD Description
Quentin Tarantino's blockbuster follow-up to RESERVOIR DOGS is a breathtaking tribute to old dime store novels about small time hoods and dangerous criminals. It features deftly woven plotlines, creating a mythic Los Angeles underworld of drug dealers, molls, affable hitmen, restaurant-robbing lovers, and a boxer out to scam the mob on his last professional bout. This is the film that put John Travolta back on the map as a major box-office draw in the '90s and officially established Samuel L. Jackson as a superstar. It also inspired a seemingly endless slew of imitators.
