a classic, especially the then horrific shower scene, with it's purposely dodgy camera work and rather screechy music as the red liquid trickles its way down the plug hole and the shower curtain pops away from the rail, (although this sort of violence would be seen as tame in the 21st century, with not enough blood and slicing of flesh for todays gore seeking audience it was only just passable to be aired in the 1960).
Hitchcock has created a classic masterpiece which will be remembered for a long time, (there were 3 more psycho movies with Perkins as Norman and even a remake of the original in 1998 with Vince Vaughn as Norman) and, as in most of his movie, he makes a brief appearance near the beginning of this one too? watch out for a bloke in a wacky cowboy hat, (but blink and you'll miss him..).

that happen to Christie. For example getting attacked late at night, by his car getting vandalised and not forgetting the text messages. All this added an extra and unknown dimension to the story as you never knew till the end who was doing this, the Psycho, the Jilted lover, her ex or even his own boss, the list just goes on.

What did surprise me slightly was I did not think the author treated the very serious issue of Child Abuse as appropriately as he should of ...

This chilling collection includes Alfred Hitchcock's legendary PSYCHO as well as the frightening sequels PSYCHO 1 and PSYCHO 2. PSYCHO - Credited with inventing the genre of the modern horror film, Alfred Hitchcock's PSYCHO is a tense thriller about a young woman, who, while on the run after stealing 40,000 dollars from her boss, is brutally murdered in the shower of a motel that she is staying in. As police investigate her disappearance, we learn more about the motel's psychotic owner, Norman Bates and his domineering mother. PSYCH0 2 - Norman Bates is coming home after spending 22 years in a mental institution. He plans to renovate the old Bates Motel, the place where his first murders occurred. PSYCHO 3 - Picking up where PSYCHO 2 left off, the Bates motel is again the site of some nasty doings as the rehabilitated Norman, who has installed a new ice machine, attempts to put his life back together. Unfortunately for his guests, old habits die hard.
