Brilliant storyline, with great early stunts from the chinese trio from the peking opera school. Jackie Chan is an officier of the Hong Kong Marine's, Yuan Biao is a high ranking officier of the Hong Kong police, and Sammo Hung old friend of Jackies is one of Hong Kongs famed thieves. set in 1800's Hong Kong Waters have been infested with a strong fleet of pirates, however the marines have constantly failed to erraticated the pirates and therefore they are disbanded and had to join the police, however due to Jackies nature and belief of justice, he ends up quitting the police force so he could arrest a criminal. Which lead him to Sammo, who was hired to streal 100 rifles from the police, which was going to be sold to the pirates. The 3 work together in the end to bring an end to the pirates reign over the waters. Overall, it is a brilliant movie.

Advantages: Intriguing story of technology gone mad, good performances, authentic kit Disadvantages: The basic premise strains credibility a bit, as per my review title
