As surgeon Craig Barton (Arnold Vosloo, THE MUMMY) and his wife Sherry share an intimate moment at home, bright blue light engulfs them. The next thing they know, two hours that...
more...they can not account for have passed. Under hypnosis, Sherry is able to recall some of the events, which involve intruders in their bedroom and being medically probed by alien beings inside a spacecraft. Now pregnant, Sherry believes that her memories never really happened, but Craig fears that their child may not be human! With PROGENY, the team of Stuart Gordon and Brian Yuzna, who collaborated on such horror classics as RE-ANIMATOR and FROM BEYOND, have produced a chilling tale of alien abduction.

Full review
Craig Barton (Arnold Vosloo) a successful surgeon is making passionate love to his wife Sherry (Jillian McWhirther), one evening when a big blinding electric blue light engulfs them. As they become aware again, they realise that two hours of their lives have gone missing.

Sherry and Craig have been trying for years for a baby, with no success. Now after their missing two hours, she finds she is pregnant. Much to the delight of both of them: although Craig does have some reservations.

Under psychiatric hypnosis Sherry reveals some of the events of that evening. Craig has now got extreme suspicions about the baby within his wife, while she thinks its all a bad dream. But who will be right?

The film is excellent viewing, and very compelling. It is an interesting and different film. With the thought of aliens, and then the viewing of them in parts - proves to be very watchable.

Extra features include: Chapter search, Trailer, and Cast and crew interviews. Certificate 18: and 1 hour 32 minutes long.
