**** Introduction ****
As a Christmas Present I got Prison Break season one on DVD, this was a series that I have never even watched before so it got cast aside.
Last Sunday I had nothing to do so I started to watch this prison break series. I have to say I am now completely hooked on it and I can't believe that this is something I have missed out on for nearly four years.
**** Prison Break ****
This is a USA series that has now reached its four year, therefore resulting in four seasons. This first series was filmed on impulse and became so popular with viewers that the producers decided to carry on with the series, which I am so glad they have done as I now have three more instalments to watch.
Each series is made up of twenty four episodes each running for a hour, so in total I have watched twenty four hours worth in the last week.
This Dvd box set can be purchased from Asda for 25.00, you can also buy series 2 and 3 for the same price but I am under the understanding that season 3 was cut short so you don't get as many episodes within this box set.
**** The Plot ****
This is based around a prison fox river where inmates plot to escape, the main characters Micheal Scofield is a clever individual who gets him self sent to prison in order to save his brother Lincoln Burrows,who is on death row for a crime he did not commit.
Micheal hatches a plan to escape from the prison and even resorts to him having blue prints of the entire prison tattooed onto his body, in order for his escape plan to work.
Over the twenty four episodes we see Micheal fight to complete his mission, but he also makes some very firm friends along the way.
**** My Views ****
There are some fantastic actors within this series all of which fit in to the plot really well, my favorite has to be an inmate called Bagwell he is the villan, but if we didn't have a villan it would not be the same would it.
The story line is extremely gripping and has you hooked from the very first episode, I am still shocked that I have not seen this before as I have certainly been missing out.
I would recommend this series to everyone as it is surly something not to be missed.
