The plane leaves without them and they must no run and escape before captured. With no plans left and the police and sniffer dogs on their trail, Michael and the gang are in trouble.
My Thoughts: This is one of the most exciting things to come to our television since Lost and 24. They clever storyline and plot, attracted millions of viewers each week and, I was one of them. The plot seems normal, a brother trying to help his brother escape from prison, however we soon realise just how cleverly written the scripts and characters are. Michael does not just go in with a hope of escaping, he has planned the escape for months and months and even designs an enormous tattoo of the blueprints all over his body, which just shows the desperate state Michaels character is in to help his brother escape. Another concept of a conspiracy is added to spice up the programme much more, again we think nothing special here, something we have seen before, but the twist and turn and political involvement of this story and the two central characters makes this programme much more attractive to watch.
A Review of Some Characters: - Michael Scofield: This character is just superb and clever to watch, he has an answer for everything and when something goes wrong he has a solution to the problem. The ambition to help his brother escape and the measures taken to do so, show the bond these two brother’s have, and show Michaels willingness to not loose the only person close to him. - Lincoln Burrows: Lincolns character is the complete opposite to Michael. Having given up and wanting death to come quick, he has a totally different outlook on life, however is relationship with his brother and is son L J soon makes him human with emotion and anger. - Sucre: This is a great addition to the show, his willingness to escape to see his pregnant wife makes his character serious. He brings in humour to the show, and looks clumsy but is a real asset to Michael and the escape plan. - T Bag: I love this guy’s character, as much as a vile as he is, and what he may have done in the past; he is a joy to watch. His style of humour makes him a good asset to the gang. He’s the character you love to hate.
Music – The opening music is by French Artist Ramin Djawadi. Average Number of Viewer per Episode: 9.2 million
