Introduction
Coffee and sandwiches are ideal treats throughout most people's busy working lives. This coffee shop chain is a major player in the London area of England, as there are many stores in London's towns. I first visited a Pret coffee shop around three years ago as I grew tired slightly of more expensive and rival coffee shops.
The reason I like visiting the Pret coffee shops is that they have a just roasted date advertised behind the counter, which is a good sign in knowing that the coffee is fresh and great quality. Compared to other coffee shops, Pret a Manger stores do offer great quality visits.

The film starts with Will as a wheel tapper at the local train station, and he is asked
"why he taps wheels" to which he replies
"if theres a clang the wheels there, if theres no clang the trains left"!
He has had every job there is, and he's useless at them all. So his sister threatens her husband that he will have to come and live with THEM if he's not found a suitable job.
His brother in law, fearing hell never ever have a sock to call his own again, finds Will a job as a station master at Buggleskelly in Northern Ireland.
Will finally arrives at Buggleskelly and here he meets his 2 long standing comedic friends albert and Jeremiah Harbottle.
There are various funnies along the way ...

As a vegetarian, I often find the Christmas Season disappointing with the usual tired options for veggie food, whilst the meat-eaters get spoiled for choice.
At Pret a Manger, however, I was very pleasantly surprised to find a Christmas Sandwich that was suitable for vegetarians.
The Brie and Cranberry sandwich was extremely tasty. As well as a generous helping of fresh brie and cranberry sauce, there were also walnuts, and salad leaves. Not the cheapest sandwich, but very tasty and appropriately festive.
Other vegetarian fillings include Hommous and Roasted Tomato. Nice to find veggie food with imagination.
This is the first time that I have tried Pret a Manger and have to say that the atmostphere was lacking, but it was an Airport outlet and I would be interested to try another venue.

Robert Altman delivers another sprawling satire with READY TO WEAR, this time focusing his lens on the tightly knit, pretentious fashion industry. After a popular fashion leader dies during the most important industry gathering of the year in Paris, the question that it might have been murder creates chaos amongst the gathered participants and viewers. Affected parties include his widow, who uses this opportunity to rekindle an old relationship; the dead man's mistress, a designer who is forced to sell out to a Texas boot tycoon; three magazine editors, who all have their eyes on the same photographer; two American reporters whose affair keeps them in bed throughout the gathering; and two aging Roman lovers who are reuniting after many years. The film's many revolving characters and stories collide at the climax, an all-nude fashion show that stuns and excites the crowd. Altman's comedy boasts one of his most star-studded casts, and actors who are playing fictional characters intermingle with popular designers and models who play themselves. This fresh mixing of fiction and reality recalls the director's thrilling THE PLAYER, and the multi-layered story, the masterful NASHVILLE. Standout performances include the late Marcello Mastroianni, Sophia Loren, Tim Robbins, Julia Roberts, Tracey Ullman, and a hysterical Kim Basinger.
