...This boxset contains the 2 disc special edition versions of both films in their individual cases, in a very nice box sleeve(4 discs in total). The first Predator movie is an action classic, with it's then pioneering in-your-face, first-person action sequences, setting a standard for action movies of the late 80's. This is also one of Arnie's best movies after the Terminator films(bar number 3), with some great "dialogue" between Arnie's character Dutch and Dillon, played by Carl Weathers - not forgetting Arnie's one-liners like "knock, knock" and "stick around". The DVD itself is faultless, with a direct digital transfer from the original negatives and 5.1 and DTS sound options. Features wise, on the first disc you have an audio commentary from the director, and on the second disc there's a great collection of behind the scenes... Read review

A true predator to be scared of! The two DVD collectors edition contains both films with bonus disks packed full of extras. Predator 1 Predator 1 stars Arnold schwarzenegger in a action packed fight for survival!, a crack team of US solders are sent into jungle in central America to rescue hostages held by guerrilla fighters, as the story leads on "dutch" (schwarzenegger) finds out his mission is not a rescue mission but purely a mission to destroy a massive surveillance sight occupied... Advantages: Good for a slow sunday afternoon
Disadvantages: spoils the real predator/Alien movies

...After enjoying the first 2 predator films, unusually finding the second more entertaining than the first, and jumping my way through the Alien films, i was under the impression that Predator Vs Alien would be the beast of all films, how wrong can a person be? After showing the Alien creatures skull on the predators space craft in Predator 2 this stated that the Alien creature were weaker than the Predators, but to actually make this into a film was always going to be a difficult task for the writers. The film was slow to start and it desperately tried to explain the reason why both alien species came to meet. The three types of creatures fighting for survival in the dark depths of planet Earth, only for the strongest and smartest species to survive, but who would come out of the pits of hell. It sounded a good plot and the action scenes... Read review
