Advantages: none Disadvantages: loads of scenes and music scores have been cut out
this is the only fools and horses complete collection boxset but in my eyes it isnt because loads of scenes have been cut and musical scores changed or cut out and laughter tracks added onto episodes that didnt originally have a laughter track. so its not really the complete collection is it with all these things changed and added the episode a royal flush is the one that been edited the most loads of scenes have been cut and a laughter track added wich spoils the episode completely. i would strongly recommend anyone that want to see all the episodes in all their glory is to tape them off uk gold its better than this so called complete collection that the bbc have released im still waiting for the genuine complete collection. ...
Advantages: Good films, Bonus discs, Director's cuts Disadvantages: None
Four fantastic films in one collection, brilliant!
Alien, it's such an original film, with a good storyline, and the ability to make you jump every time you watch it. It starts out with seven characters who encounter a mysterious alien on their space ship. The events that follow are both interesting and unexpected. It certainly deserves the Oscar it won for special effects which, especially for the time it was made, are impressive. I think the first film is best because the creature was mostly hidden until the end, which made it more fearful. To me, this is one of those films that you just have to watch when it's on TV even though you have the DVD.
Aliens is not quite as good as the original Alien film, but is still exciting and has some entertaining characters. It features Ripley, from the first Alien film, who has been found ...
Advantages: Well acted, Great Book Adaptation Storylines, Fun for All Ages Disadvantages: Each Movie is About Three Hours Long
be ignored by the overall storyline.
I was slightly disapointed by this third story since it really didn't go by the books my L.M Montgomery at all. The first two movies are at least based on her books , but this movie was almost entirely made up. I was hoping the third movie would follow the other books about Anne as she is grown up with Children.
Still, the movie was well made and entertaining. It was good to see the actors again, and the costumes anad attention to detail from the World War I era are fantastic. It's not as good as the first two movies, but well worth a watch.
******Conclusion*****
All these movies in the BoxSet; Anne of Green Gables, The Sequel , and The Continuing Story, are so much fun. Children around the age of 7 and up will enjoy the first one. While children more around the age of 10 and up would ...

DVD Description
In 1987 director John McTiernan (DIE HARD) teamed up with Arnold Schwarzenegger to deliver a huge box office smash in the shape of the first PREDATOR movie. This collection begins with McTiernan's wonderfully entertaining feature, in which Arnie and a group of commandos face off against their alien foe in a Central American jungle. The action continues with PREDATOR 2, which transfers the adventure from the jungle to the streets of Los Angeles, and stars Danny Glover as a beleaguered cop charged with bringing the creature down. The set concludes with two showdowns between the Predator and another immensely popular movie villain, in 2004's ALIEN VS. PREDATOR and 2007’s ALIEN VS. PREDATOR – REQUIEM.
