...to the screen and this s probably the only show to hold his attention until the very end. I even find myself drawn in to the somewhat chaotic life of PostmanPat and his mad cap deliveries that are always going wrong but you can guarantee that they will always be delivered on time!
Because this show is a lot different from the old one they have a new soundtrack which is still similar to the old one but with the "Special Delivery Service" part added in and the music certainly seems a lot funkier than it used to.
There seems to have been a lot of shows made in this series because it has now been on for a good few weeks and doesn't appear to be finishing anytime soon. I have also seen t for sale on DVD format in my local Woolworth's but the DVD does only have a selected few shows and not the whole series which is a shame.

Characters have been introduced over the years, and these characters have created more stories and antics for children to follow. Jack is a little bookworm and loves nothing more than a good book. His latest obsession (well his first one really) is PostmanPat. Of course, the PostmanPat Special Delivery Service, which is on every weekday morning 9.15am on BBC2, is a lot jazzier than PostmanPat used to be, so it not surprising he can't get enough of it. With Pat jetting about in his "Special Delivery" helicopter delivery parcels to all over Greendale it would make any little boy aspire to be a Postman!
Anyway it was a little while ago now that we purchased these books from Waterstone's and there was a buy 3 for 2 offer on but these books were selling for £3.99p. I have seen them cheaper on the Internet but the saving is merely a few pence (and with postage would probably tot it up over £4).
