and has ruined the image of Mr Bean for me. At first I was curious and quite excited - I had hoped the comedy would be on the same lines as the original but I was wrong.
The soundtrack is mostly orchestral with symbols, drums and flutes to emphasise dramtic turn arounds and Beans thoughts. The vocals, as the televised original series is basically mumbles and whimpers with the odd 'ooooo' sound. Another thing that irritates me is the fact that they have tried to modernise him and have given him a girl friend, not that that ever get together, lord no, what would happen to teddy, where would he sleep!? Irma Gobb is more a romantic interst whom Bean tries to impress, but rarely suceeds.
In this single DVDvolume you get 8 episodes, each lasting about 15minutes in length and include; 'In The Wild', 'Missing Teddy', 'No Parking', 'Bean's Bounty ...

clear that her heart belongs to none other than?Dark.
So poor Daisuke has to juggle a mother who tries to kill him by laying traps around the house, an unrequited love, stealing artwork, transforming into Dark every time he thinks too much about Risa, and avoiding making himself look suspicious in front of Satoshi. He has his hands full!
The first DVD concerns Daisuke getting to grips with Dark, and with stealing these valuable pieces for his family.
This is DVD1 of 7 and contains episodes 1 - 4.
Characters: Daisuke is adorable, and until you meet Dark you wonder how on earth he would carry out being a main character. His innocence perfectly balances Dark, so it does work, but you sometimes feel he is a bit weak.
Dark is everything Daisuke is not; tall, strong and good with the ladies. Frequently seen wearing form ...
Advantages: Great Chaplin films Disadvantages: Could have used more extras
My interest in vintage films started when I was a young child in the 1960s. There was a programme on every Sunday afternoon (if my memory serves me well) it was hosted by the late Bob Monkhouse and featured old vintage films that were form his own, personal collection.
Charli Chaplin Volume1 is a two CD collection released through the wonderful British Film Institute. It features a number of films fromm the very early days of Charlie Chaplin's Hollywood film career. From the days of Essanay Films and beyond.
The first film is His New Job. His character (down on his luck, though not, exactly, a tramp) is trying his luck with open auditions at Lodestone Studios. There's a little bit of business in the waiting room when he shamelessly makes up to a pretty and simpering girl also waiting for an audition. He enrages the manager ...
