Pole Dance Fitness - Vol. 1 DVD

Advantages: Flexible time duration, fun, interesting and you can't get bored.
Disadvantages: No seperate videos of the cool down and warm up.

...After Christmas every year, I end up buying a fitness DVD and this year I was looking at all the ones available and Dance Floor Workout Vol 1 appealed to me more than any of the ones involving ex/current soapstars that probably don't even do that workout to stay at that size. From the packaging alone, DFW1 appealed because the music covers a wide range from multiple decades - Danni Minogue, Sugababes and Sister Sledge to mention a few. Upon opening the DVD, other artists included are En Vogue, East 17 and Candi Staton. The other reason why from the cover alone it appealed was because it was not boasting of how to get to a size 8/10 or how it changes your life. ...As always South Park which details the lives of Kenny, Cartman, Stan and Kyle is funny but yet mildly disturbing. I have always enjoyed south park but as each series passes its gets less and less funny and the creators Matt and Trey still manage to remain the people with the sickest minds. If you are south parks number 1 fan then buy this series, if you are not then do not touch it with a barge pole as south park is becoming a sitcom that takes it too far. The episode about fingers (i wont spoil it for you) actually made me stop watching it and also many of the stories are insensitive like going overboard with using disabled people as jokes which many will find disturbing. I would not recommend this DVD to many but for the few of you that love the programme more than food then go buy it but if you are not that bothered wait... Read review

...I wasn't familiar with Curious George before my 3-year-old son was given this DVD as a gift, but he's now a firm favourite. The DVD features eight short stories including Zoo Night - George visits the baby panda at the zoo and ends up accidentally releasing all the animals; From Scratch - George has to work out who caused the scratches the cat's been wrongly accused of; and Curious George Discovers the 'Poles in which he's given some tadpoles to look after and learns about the cycle of life. George is curious and occasionally mischievous without being naughty and, though these stories are great fun, they're also stealthily educational, teaching problem-solving without being preachy or boring. Great fun and a fabulously funky soundtrack to boot!... Read review
