Pokémon that debuted in the fall of 2000 in theGoldandSilver-edition Game Boy games. En route to the Johto Tournament, Ash, Brock and Misty visit the mountain village of Greenfield, where they encounter an 8-year-old girl named Molly. Her father, Professor Spencer Hale, disappeared when he set off to study the Unown, a group of 26 Pokémon that resemble letters. The Unown build a baroque crystalline shell around Molly's palatial home, send the leonine Entei to watch over her and grant whatever she wishes--except the return of her father. What Molly really wants is a family: she refers to Entei as her father and has him kidnap Ash's mum to be her mother. Ash charges to the rescue with the help of Pikachu, Charizard and Cyndaquil. In the climactic battle, Ash is joined by Brock and Misty, as well as the usually villainous Team Rocket. ("We figure if we don't help you, we're outta showbiz," Meowth explains.) Molly's father eventually reappears, but the viewer never sees the reunion with his daughter. Ash, Molly and the other two-dimensional characters simply don't fit into three-dimensional, computer-generated crystal settings, and large sections ofPokémon 3look like two films unsuccessfully spliced together. --Charles Solomon, Amazon.com.

The Ultimate pokemon movie yet, I would be saying that if it was actually good. The film has to many new pokemon, alot of pokemon that you dont know about unless you wathc the episodes, which aint half bad. The film is about this kid that loast her father from the pokemon names *Unown*. She wants to get him back, and she has a reality dream that changes the world by using her own mind. Ash and his friends try to stop her rampage, and they end up ... ...if you are a major pokemon fan, but for the people who dont know much, there is not really an introduction that tells you what pokemon are.

This has great animation graphics, which is ok. They enjoyability is not very good. It is ok if you are a major pokemon fan, but for the people who dont know much, there is not really an introduction that tells you what pokemon are.

Pokemon are like animals, that battle, and you own them.
I will give this film a 2 star, for that it does not entertaining. The story is not so good, the character performances are ok, special effects... HA, there aint no way there is special effects.
If you liked this, try the other Pokemons or Digimon.

Molly then ask's for Ash's mom as her Mother so Entei gets her for her. Will Ash's mom be rescued? Will the world reach to full crystal? And will Molly get her own Father back? Watch it and find out.

Advantages: Kids will love it Disadvantages: Adult audience varies
Its a good movie, which is exiciting and the story isn't all that bad either, the action in the movie is averagely descent, plus the graphics and drawings have been notched up to attract the kids attention plus it can also draw the attention of adults who are watching it with their kids, the features of this product is the toy that comes with it which is a limited edition pokemon, which is alos a rare pokemon in pokemon terms which the kids will enjoy to play with, the dvd also comes with a pikachu special, and comes with the usual english subtitles along with a few language audios such as french and german, there is a chapter selection screen, and a pokemon game as well for the kids. ...

DVD Description
POKEMON 3: THE MOVIE, the third full-length animated feature based on the popular Japanese cartoon series (adapted for American audiences by producer Norman Grossfeld and director Michael Haigney) presents an intriguing blend of fast-paced adventure and fantasy. Young Pokemon trainer Ash and his traveling companions arrive at the idyllic town of Greenfield, where they encounter five-year-old Molly, a lonely little girl whose parents have disappeared into another dimension inhabited by the Unown. These cryptic hieroglyphic-shaped Pokemon are able to read the minds of humans and make their dreams become reality. With the help of the Unown, Molly's overactive imagination has spawned a bizarre dream world complete with a crystal tower of gigantic proportions and a mighty guardian Pokemon to do her bidding. After fighting their way inside Molly's refuge, Ash's loyal Pokemon pals and the Unown finally clash in a splashy computer-enhanced showdown. As in the first and second Pokemon movie installments, an animated short precedes the main feature: In PIKACHU AND PICHU, everyone's favorite yellow electric Pokemon encounters the playful Pichu brothers during a trip to the big city, along with a host of colorful new Pokemon first introduced in Pokemon Gold and Silver for the Nintendo Game Boy.
