Advantages: amazing story line and cinematography Disadvantages: you need your own cinema to get the most from it
...This is one of the best films of all time (in my opinion). It has it all! The battle scenes are graphic and imaginative without being gory and over the top. The cinematography is amazing and really give a sence of atmosphere. The story line too is captivating and there are few scenes that detract from the story. The battle scenes are epic, not due to their size but from the sense you get watchin the one on one sword fights. The acting too is very good with believable characters and well delivered lines. For those of you who don\'t like films for men that have lots of fights and revolve around war, this is not for you. But those of you who like a good story, and a good strong character base as well as wondering atmosphere and good scenes that encourage you to watch more.
I saw this at the cinema before i pre-ordered the DVD...

Advantages: Decent Schwarzenegger action film Disadvantages: Doesn't bear thinking about
..."Predator" is a decent film from Schwarzenegger's oeuvre, not his best but far from his worst. His role involved looking hard and getting into fights, without straining his acting ability too far.
The film at first appears to be slightly different, a jungle rescue movie as a team led by Arnold's Rambo character is sent to save some hostages from guerillas. Surprisingly, they fail completely in the first half hour, and then realise they face a far greater threat - an invisible and entirely motiveless alien who picks them off one by one (despite the fact that it could just as easily have killed them all in one go). Still, what ET can do with a sonic plasma wave dissembler, Arnold can do with mud and a tree trunk, and the day is saved, unlike most of the film's characters.
It's not a film for thinking about at any length, just...

...This film is an unforgettable hit comedy. WHOOPI GOLDBERG stars as a sassy lounge singer, who is forced to hide out from the mob, after witnessing a murder.
She is hidden in a place where nobody would ever think to look for her (A quiet little convent).
Before long she turns the tone-deaf choir into a wonderful, soulful, swinging group of nuns. But their growing success brings too much attention and she is discovered. Captured and taken back to Las Vegas, the ever-faithful nuns give chase and rescue her.
The film is full of 60s motown hits, and packed with laughs.
YOU COULD SAY THIS FILM IS HABIT FORMING. Good enough to watch time and time again....
