...as father of the bride, requesting that Micheal's current boss to sack him, allowing Micheal to become part of the family business.
Julianne has just three days to tell Micheal that she loves him but it proves much harder than she realised. Finally on the day of the wedding she has enough courage and tells Micheal the truth, then kisses him but Kimmy is watching.
Micheal is now forced to choose between, the young, perfect Kimmy and the woman in his life, his best friend, Julianne. But who does he really love more? Who will win the fight and Micheal's heart?

Advantages: A funny storyline with amusing characters Disadvantages: Rather predictable
...is planning. The plot unravels as we see the pair struggling by with their feelings as Mary continues to plan their perfectwedding.
I have to admit that i really enjoyed this film, it may be slightly predicatable but it made me feel all warm and glowy at the end (or that could have been the bottle of wine, I can't be sure).

This is a review of the film, by the way, since I haven't read the book.
Plot: Bridget Jones is a thirty- something London- dwelling yuppy whose life runs in time to the ticking of her biological clock. It seems her entire life revolves around the quest to find the perfect man and marry him as quickly as possible. There are a few token yank connections to sell the film abroad, and in the grand ChickFlick tradition, her job sucks, she lives alone, and there are two blokes who fancy her- she just doesn't realise it yet.
All the discussions I have had with friends about this film are about whether...
