The first in a triology of Johnny Depp movies. It is a most see movie. The storyline is very unique and good. It starts with elizabeth(Keira Knightley) meeting Wil turner(orlando bloom) while they were both young and will was adrift on the sea. Eventually elizabeth is kidnapped and will sets out to find her with the help of Captain Jack Sparrow (johnny depp). The kidnappers include Captain Barbosa(geofrrey rush) and his crew of undead humans. This is the part that gives the films storyline its greatest punch. How fairytale can you get with a crew of undead men sailing the sea for eternity. It was a great storyline. Captain Barbosa and his men are in search of a solution that will make them human once again and it is for this reason that kidnapped elizabeth. The special effects of the movie were astounding and the storyline is just too good. this is amovie that i watch every once in a week and i never get tired of it.If you havent watched this movie then go buy all the three movies - Pirates of the Caribeean:The curse of the black pearl - Pirates of the Caribeean:Dead man's chest - Pirates of the Caribeean:At worlds end. all the three movies have a great storyline and special effects. And in a good way all the three movies have each of their story's skillfully linked together. You can watch only one of the movies and still get satisfied. but to enjoy fully watch all the three movies THEY ARE AWESOME

Good review of the film itself, although I see you've posted this as a DVD review, but you've not mentioned the DVD features. Are there any extras? If so, what are they and are they any good? If you add to this, or if you change it to be posted as a "Film Only" review, which can be done by accessing "edit review" above the review and changing the drop down menu under the "Which format are you reviewing?" question at the bottom, please let me know and I'll re-rate.
