Grab some munchies turn the sound up and the lights down, this is a great film with plenty action from the go. Pirate movies became cool again when this hit the big screen. The cast is brilliant, the special effects are superb, but not over whelming like some other movies. Mr Depp plays the main character Captain Jack Sparrow a eccentric lovable rouge & is supported well by Bloom and Knightley. The plot is easy enough to follow without any major twists or surprises. Sparrow wants his ship, the Black Pearl, back. Elizabeth (Keira Knightley) saw the ship as girl and rescued a young Will (Orlando Bloom) from the sea, years later she is kidnapped by the crew of the Black Pearl: Will and Sparrow join forces each for their own reasons.
