The storyline is set in the 1700s during the days of the British colonies in the Caribbean. The story revolves around Elizabeth Swann and Will Turner who meet as children after pirates have attacked a ship. Elizabeth takes a gold medallion from the unconscious Will in order to protect him being branded as a pirate. She never knew that the medallion comes from a cursed treasure. The pirates whose the medallion belong to stal a cursed treasure so they are also cursed. The blood is part of the curse, blood have been shed to achieve the pirates' goal, which was to get to the cursed gold and so blood must be repaid. Their only hope is to gather all the peaces from the treasure and to "spill" the blood of all the people who were involved in the attempt to get the treasure. They need also the
medallion and Will Turners blood because his father was a pirat and a membrer of the crew. But after they attack the city where Will Turner lives ( Port Royal ) they discover Elizabeth while she wear the medallion and they think that she is the the person they need. Now you can guess the rest of the story or… you can create a new one.
Johnny Depp is a big! Big! Star so I don't need to present him here. As usual Johnny Depp put on an impressive performance Recently he received an "Academy Award" nomination, a "Golden Globe" nomination and a "Screen Actor's Guild" award for his rol of Jack Sparro in Jerry Bruckheimer's hit action-adventure Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. Johnny Depps character is somehow crazy but he has charm. He play both the good and the bad guy . We meet Captain Jack Sparrow wille he arrive in town on a boat that was slowly sinking. He is arrested ( because he is a pirate ) after he save Elizabeth but he is helped by Will Turner(Orlando Bloom , a young blacksmith ) to escape and become friends. They both want to find the legendary pirate ship "Black Pearl" wich is rulad by bloody Cpt.Barbossa but they have different interests. Here "Orlando Bloom is in love with Keira Knightley ". His character is shy but in the same time courageous and able to use a sword as real pirate . He fight to save the woman he love even if she is promised to somebody else.

I heard that Disney has released a three-disc edition of Pirates Of The Caribbean but I don't have it yet.Opinion: I have to recognize the fact that when I heard for the first time that was created a new film and knowing that it was based on the Disneyland ride, I was skeptical of its success. I though that it is another movie without any meaning. However after I watched some trailers I decided to borrow the movie from one of my friends. He said that he liked the special effects and… I liked them too. You can't find so many defects. Firstly in the movie we meet a great cast ( Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom ,Keira Knightley etc. secondly because the crew did an awesome job giving us a lost word, a word that remined and will remain a mystery, the pirates word. Basically it was a very good watch and I was impressed by the fact that the movie don't try to show us extremely bad characters. Actually Captain Barbosa the evil characters wasn't acted too badly.I especially liked the irony in the movie and my favorite scene is that when the pirates are walking underwater. I like also the scenes with that pirat who always "take care" of his eye. I think that without Johnny Depp the movie wouldn't have been so amusing, he is such a great actor .Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley are also a good actors but I liked more the way Johnny Depp playad.I don't know why but he make you belive that the whole story is real or it could be…I advice you to buy it if you like storyes of pirates and skeletons. I bought this DVD from Sweden with 25$ I don't know how much It will cost you but I don't think that it will be a big difference of price. However you can buy it from:http://800-buy-movies.com/ ($13.71 ) ; www.amazon.com ($12.99); http://chaos.com/($38.10). etc. I hope I helped you and if not please tell me wath I am suppose to corect because I am new here.
