I decided that after a lazy first pregnancy, where I did little or no exercise, that for my second I would have the perfect pregnancy - eat healthily and keep fit. After alot of reading pregnancy magazines, I decided on Pilates. I hoped that it would strengthen my back and so hold my giant stomach in place. Pilates in Pregnancy was a very good buy. I started the DVD when only 3 months pregnant and carried it on until nearly the final weeks. I would advise anyone buying this DVD to spend the first session just watching it. You need to concentrate to get the moves right - they are not hard, but you need to get them right to feel the difference in your body. I would do the DVD twice a month and by the end I was becoming slightly bored with it but I never lost sight of how I wanted to get my body back into shape.
