Features the films PHONE BOOTH and INDEPENDENCE DAY. In PHONE BOOTH, Self-centred, arrogant, public relations man Stu Sheppard goes into a phone booth to call his mistress without his wife knowing. As soon as he hangs up, the phone rings and he hears a stranger's voice telling him that if he tries to leave the booth he will be shot dead. He starts to believe what he is hearing when a man tries to get in the booth and is gunned down. In INDEPENDENCE DAY, mysterious spaceships appear in the sky and satellite communication systems cease to work. The population at large is unaware of the visitors' hidden agenda. Only one man knows what's really going on.
Advantages: Touch screen, games, web browser, utilites, music, pictures Disadvantages: Price, can not copy and paste, battery life, camera
...In a nutshell: IT?S A TOUCH SCREEN. No other phone have I ever come across since I laid my hands on has so much capabilities as this beautiful beast. It?s a phone, it?s a music player, it?s a camera, it?s a web browser, it?s everything all mashed together into one beautiful device. However its not cheap and it has many limitations so unfortunately its like my last girlfriend; a imperfect beauty.
When it comes to the iPhone, I never can make the decision over whether I hate it or love it. It?s a beautiful little device with operates on Apple?s OS X operating system. Its all touchscreen so instead of using buttons the phone has icons that appear on the very touch-sensitive screen, and this screen is big, actually its bigger than big its HUGE.
Apple claimed that the iPhone was five years ahead of the competition and when you have a play...

Advantages: fun romantic comedy, George Clooney Disadvantages: none
...Having had a lovely relaxing day without husband or children around (much as I love them all!), I thought I would treat myself by putting my feet up and watching a nice romantic comedy on DVD. I've got a few on my 'to watch' pile but settled on One Fine Day starring two of my favourites - George Clooney and Michelle Pfeiffer. It was a very enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours.
The film was made quite a while ago in 1996 and is about two single parents whose lives cross one day. Michelle Pfeiffer plays Melanie Parker whose son Sammy goes to school with Maggie. Maggie's mum has just got married so she is having to spend the week with her dad Jack Taylor (George Clooney). Everything is a bit chaotic in Jack's house - so much so that he forgets to tell Melanie that he does not need her to take Maggie to school. As a consequence they are...

Advantages: Terrific acting, great plot, dark, compelling but intelligent Disadvantages: Cop films might not suit all
...Training Day was a film that instantly stood out to me as a must watch film due through the fact that Denzel Washington had been nominated for an Oscar for his performance in the film. Having always admired Denzel's talent as an actor, I was greatly anticipating this film.
The central plot of the film is a young, slightly naive, wet behind the ears Ethan Hawke has joined the narcotics department he wants to make a difference and climb the ladder. Before he can hold these goals in my mind however, he will subject to a first day evaluation by Alonso a decorated, respected and equally feared narcotics officer.
Today is indeed going to be Ethan's training day, but this is no ordinary training day and while first perceiving his officer's tactics as being unorthodox, he begins to realise that there is a much darker side to him. Jake...
