least if the nearly 90-minute concertLive and Loose in Parisis any indication. The man is non-stop motion, whether seated behind his drum kit, prowling the stage as frontman (the format is in-the-round, so it takes an effort to keep all of the arena-sized audience involved), or, of course, singing the hits (including "Against All Odds", "In the Air Tonight" and "Sussudio"). The "loose" part of the title is a bit of a misnomer; Collins' excellent band is unerringly tight, and the performance is well-choreographed while still maintaining some sense of spontaneity. There's no denying the appeal of Collins' drum-heavy, horn-driven, R&B-cum-world-music sound, and if his music ultimately isn't as challenging or engaging as that of Peter Gabriel's (the other ex-Genesis lead singer), no one in this Paris audience seems to mind a bit. Good show, Phil.--Sam Graham

Advantages: Every track is great in one way or another. Disadvantages: None.
Some of you who?ve read a few of my previous albums may have picked up on the fact that I like PhilCollins. Well, I?ll let you into in a widely known secret that isn?t really a secret anyway ? he?s my favourite solo artist! I bet you never expected that! ?..Ok, you saw it coming a mile off. Back to the review. ;-D
NB ? Genesis is a favourite band of mine too. PhilCollins was in Genesis, don?t you know! :-D
But Seriously is a great album. It was the album that introduced me to the music of PhilCollins, although this album is quite a bit different to his previous works, following a more upbeat theme. He?s turned to a more live sound now, going from a jazz-rock sound to something more pop-like or even alternative. Every track is worth a listen in its own way.
Another difference to this album and the previous albums is ...
Advantages: Loads of Phil Collins songs Disadvantages: Loads of Phil Collins songs messed up
An album of remixed PhilCollins tracks performed by r&b and hip hop artists. Risky, seeing as the man himself as churned out classic after classic and as you can imagine it wasnt well received by, well anyone.
I did however purchase because i like PhilCollins and i like hip hop & r&b so i took a chance. I should have spent my money on buying that indoor ten pin bowling set instead. Saying that there is a couple of decent tunes on here but as a whole, not the greatest ive spent my money on
Tracks
Another Day In Paradise - Ray J & Brandy. The single to come off this album was received quite well, not a bad video and the brother sister duet that everyone wanted to hear. An up to date version but not better than the original. You may find me saying that more often than not
Sussudio - Ol Dirty Bastard. Shocking. No resemblence ...
Advantages: Calm, mellow, occaisionally chilled album Disadvantages: One or two poor tracks
An interesting collection of tracks make up this album. The majority of tracks are slow, with a few being more upbeat. This album isn?t a happy album, mainly due to the fact that it was written at around about the same time as PhilCollins? marriage ended.
It is evident that Phil has spent a lot of time on this album and that he is one of a very small amount of artists who like their music to be perfect. Every instrument you hear has been played by Phil, which shows how fluent he is in different types of instrument.
THE TRACKS
There are 11 tracks on this one disc album. Most have a similar theme to another, that being the standard combination of love and life which we come to expect from PhilCollins.
1 ? Both Sides Of The Story ? An upbeat opener to the album with the trademark PhilCollins drums, this is not a bad song ...
Tracks include: 'Hand In Hand', 'Another Day In Paradise', 'Lorenzo', 'In The Air Tonight', 'Dance Into The Light', 'Wear My Hat', 'Sussido' and more.

DVD Description
Phil Collins's career has gone through almost as many reincarnations and reinventions as Madonna's. He has been the lead singer of the prog-rock group Genesis, a successful solo pop star, a television and movie acto, and, finally, an Academy Award winner for his TARZAN theme song. LIVE AND LOOSE IN PARIS features Phil in his most natural state -- performing. Collins sings and bops to fifteen hit songs at this exciting concert -- from "Sussudio" to "Against All Odds."
