Advantages: It comes in a cool "phantasm sphere", which contains four good films - and a bonus disc! Disadvantages: This series may not be for your run-of-the-mill horror fan - it's a cult type of series!
A. Michael Baldwin plays a kid who suspects something is up at the local cemetary - he goes to investigate and finds all kinds of weird things going on in the mortuary at the hands of the Tall Man (Angus Scrimm).
As the series goes on he grows up and tries time after time to escape the Tall Man and try and stop his evil plans for world domination, and avoid death at the hands of "THE SPHERE".

A. Michael Baldwin is replaced in the second film by the annoying James LeGros (Friends, Ally McBeal), but makes his return for the third film thankfully!
Look out for the brilliant splicing of fouttake footage from the original in the fourth part of the series, a great way to end despite ending up in Los Angeles.
