I am thoroughly disappointed with this. I am a fan and already have the Bolton Albert Halls, so this may end up on eBay and I might buy the new Jim Davidson instead!!!

Basically, this is the Last leg of the 180 date "Mum wants a bungalow tour", playing to a packed Manchester Arena.
If you haven't seen "Live at the Bolton Albert Hall", then this is worth a look.
If you have seen that performance, don't bother with this. The stand up part is practically identical. The running time for the stand up is 45 minutes.
I started watching this and as soon as I got about 5 or 10 minutes into it, I realised I had wasted the best part of £15. The only good part being, I had a gift voucher for £5 which helped ease the pain of wasting the money.
The 'fly on the wall' documentary runs longer than the show itself, approx 55 mins. That is enjoyable and to me was the best part of the DVD. It shows humour and frustration and emotions about the tour.
The Amarillo alternative video was worth watching, as it showed some of the goofs which happen when filming it (such as the Ronnie Corbett fall).

If you want to watch this, I would recommend renting it if you have seen Bolton Albert Halls. It is worth watching the documentary Its not so dissappointing wasting a couple of quid than £15.
This is very difficult to give ratings to as it can be judged for someone who has never seen Peter Kay or someone who has seen Live at Bolton.
If you have not seen Live at the Bolton Albert Halls, this is recommended viewing.
If you HAVE seen Live at the Bolton Albert Halls, this is not recommended viewing and overpriced at £15.
Advantages: Very funny if you haven't already seen his stand-up Disadvantages: Its basically a repeat of the Bolton Halls DVD
...quite difficult to believe that Peter Kay has released this DVD and I have lost quite a bit of respect for him because of this. The cover boasts that this was the special final-leg of Peter's 'Mum wants a bungalow' tour, leading me to initially believe that it would feature new material. I was, however, incorrect and, not only is the show featured a near-exact replica of the Bolton Halls show, I also realised I had already seen this show on Channel ... ...surprise. It is clear that Peter is simply cashing-in on his popularity at the moment (I've also noticed that a 'Best of Peter Kay' CD has recently been released, featuring some very questinable tracks) and it also seems that he has no intention of releasing new material in the future. I couldn't really recommend this DVD to anyone becasue, even if you don't own the previous DVD, the Bolton Halls performance is a far superior, more confident one ...

Advantages: It's Peter Kay!! Disadvantages: Seen it already
...the beggining you do get Peter Kay walking towards the stage while singing "The way to Amarillo" which is quite funny, especially when he's got 2 big guys behind him imitating the female background voices. To my opinion that's where the DVD finishes. Yes, it's Peter Kay, yes he's great and yes, the act is as funny as it can be. The jokes are hilarious, his comments on life's reality are superb and his dancing moves could dazzle off those of John ... ...a different answer other than Peter Kay wants to meake more money out of the same gags.
I love Peter Kay, I personally he's a genius of our time. I have watched most of his material and I have cried of laughter with his humour. He has a special way to describe everyday situations to make them appear extravagant, rare and yet hilarious. I like how he perfectly imitates older people and mums, I sometimes see my own family reflected in his description ...

Peter Kay live at the manchester arena is a special edition dvd.
This dvd is a 15 certificate and is a special farewell performance of the mum wants a bungalow tour. (This dvd is exactly the same as the Bolton one)
This dvd is soooo funny! Peter's sense of humour is different to any other comedians I've seen!
He tells jokes , about his granny to wedding parties! I was in absolute stiches!
The dvd has extra features including 'one hundred and ...

Advantages: Amarillo DVD and many extra Disadvantages: Similar to his others
...to get it, anything of Peter Kay's and I'm interested!
However, I bought this yesterday, got it home and watched it with my flat mates and I couldn't believe how similar it was to the others, it seemed like a combination of Top of the Tower and Live at Bolton Hall. If you haven't seen any of Peter Kay's stand up before I can guarantee you will be laughing and this DVD provides the best bits along with extras. For anyone who doesn't know much about ... ...the comedy for you.
Peter Kay didn't seem to have the same enthusiasm in this DVD and I feel that he is just cashing in on bringing out another DVD without advertising it as being similar. It looks like it is brand new material, its more of a compilation of the previous releases.
I'm sure that most people who have seen and heard Peter's work will agree that it is laugh a second!
His work is based around things that happen to everyday people, he ...

Advantages: Peter Kay the great comedian Disadvantages: some of the jokes have been told on past DVD's
...I'm here to review the Peter Kay Live at the Manchester Arena.
It is the final part of the 180 date "mum wants a bungalow tour" which is fantastic. It is rated 15 because it does have moderate swearing in it but that doesnt matter too much to me. I bought this DVD because I have the other two Peter Kay DVDs I think he is the best comedian alive. If you watch it you can see the audience laughing their heads of at some of his jokes. I don't want to ... ...is all mainly in the Peter Kay at the Bolton Albert Hall but I was still crying with laughter by the end of it. The only problem with this DVD is that like me if you have the other two DVDs then it isn't as good because a lot of the jokes have been told before but there are some new ones. The extras on it are a One Hundred And Eighty Tour Documentary and the number one hit single "Is This the Way to Amarillo" oringinal video. I would recommend it ...
