Advantages: Keeps you laughing...and guessing!
Disadvantages: Bit corny sometimes and not the sort of film I would watch twice.

Keeping Mum-the new movie by director Niall Johnson, is really pretty good. It's set in a small countryside community (Little Wallop) where everyone knows each others business and is about the family of the town vicar (Rowan Atkinson). His wife is tired of him working so hard and thus takes up golfing lessons from Patrick Swayze, his daugter is a bit of a slapper and his son is being bullied at school. He seems completely oblivious to all of this. Cue Maggie Smith (who plays the housekeeper/nanny) who steps in and all there problems just seem to dissapear; or do they? This British comedy (rated 15) really isn't a waste of the 99 minutes you will spend watching it. It combines brilliant British humour with a bit of tongue in cheek suspense. With friends like Peter's . . .

Advantages: Easy watching, some good acting and great vocal performances
Disadvantages: Acting from some of the cast is a bit over-the-top

(generally arts-orientated) lives to reassess their lives and whether they even like themselves - but a really unfortunate (and very hard to ignore - for me, at least) feature of the film is that some characters are far more rounded than others. The new Lord Morton, Peter (Stephen Fry) remains the pacifying one, putting his friends first and helping them out so much that - when he drops his genuinely serious bombshell of a personal problem on them in the final scene - they can't help but feel guilty that they haven't given him one chance in two days to talk about himself. On a par with Peter's situation - or arguably even more distressing - is Roger and Mary's marriage. Advantages: Interactive fun
Disadvantages: Quite hard questions

very easy to use and follow. You use the arrow keys on your DVD remote control to select the answers and Anne Robinson guides you through how to play. There are two options of how to play: Single Player or Multi-Player. If you select single player, the DVD records your score as you play but if you select multi-player then each participant needs pen and paper to record their score and the answers are reavealed at the end so that results can be counted up. There are 1000 questions on Britain from food to football and pop to politics and one test consists of 70 questions. The DVD says that it is suitable for all ages but I would suggest that the generall level of the questions is quite high and children could not easily take part and would probably get bored and frustrated.
