...The first time i watched The Predator my experience was slightly ruined with my cousin telling me what was about to happen 2 minutes before it actually happened......but despite this the movie left a lasting impression and NOTHING (not even an annoying blabbing cousin) prepares you for the final confrontation and the predators mask removal. I watched it again some years later and although i'd only seen it once i found myself completely immersed in it. The lush tropical jungle setting, the ridiculous amount of muscles on display, the personality of the team members, the incredible soundtrack, amount of bloodshed, the variety of guns. An absolutely perfect combination. Oh, and of coursenot forgetting the Predator itself. The ultimate hunter versus the ultimate prey. Enjoy... Read review

Advantages: Funny, SPECTACULAR SPECTACULAR
Disadvantages: gets a little side tracked in the middle

...What an awsome action film, one of my all time personal favorites. Unlike a lot of modern day action films that can be slow to start or have sporadic action sequences split up by long periods of mediocre acting and plot this film is a rollercoaster from start to finish. The action kicks off almost straight away as the small unit of special commandos are dropped into the jungle and then all hell breaks loose. There is very little letup in the action and it is all very well done, the stunts are great and the special effects are pretty good for a film made back in 1987. John McTiernan is a great action director and I rate all his films pretty highly. Arnie is on fine form doining what he does best, blowing stuff up with his muscles bulging everywhere and delivering some great lines and the supporting are just as outrageous... Read review
