disciples of the Bohemian movement. Baz has clearly used a fair bit of artistic licence with reference to the historical aspects of the film but has done so in a respectful and very successful way.
Needless to say I love this film a lot. There are moments of pure hilarity, brutality, hedonism, darkness, hope and despair. It really is an emotional rollercoaster and the ending is certainly not a let down but isn?t what your typical Hollywood audience would expect either. If you haven?t seen it ? watch it and if you have ? watch it again.
DVD Extras: I have a cheap version of this film which is basically half of the two disc set. It still refers to the second disc in one of the extras and as such is more or less useless. The natural flow of a Schwarzenegger film is back here again, with the plot seeming to be quite smooth, with the Predator trying to eliminate the squad, and the squad trying to combat this adversary. I enjoyed the film immensely, particularly the lines quotable from the film, most notably from Jesse Ventura's character Blain. At one point Hawkins points out Blain is bleeding. Blain replies: 'I ain't got time to bleed!' Simple, but effective and memorable.
Conclusion
Another top Arnie film, comprising the genres of sci-fi, horroe and action very well in one all out busting action flick.

Advantages: A fantastically unique and compelling film Disadvantages: Needs to be watched multiple times in order to gain a full understanding
a welcome addition to anyone's DVD collection. If you're not one to bother with extras then your best bet may be to pick up this edition of the film as it tends to be cheaper than others that are available. Having said this, if you find the films to be similarly priced then it's probably worth splashing out a bit extra and getting a version with extras. The 2 Disc 'Directors Cut' edition of the film can currently be found in HMV for £6.99, so although this is £4 more expensive than this version then you may feel that the extra cost would be worthwhile in the long run. This really is a fantastic film and at just £2.99 at present, it would be a shame to pass up such an opportunity to add this one to your collection. ...
