This is a very touching film, if you haven't seen it I would recommend it.

The film is about the bombing of Pearl Harbour, which was attacked by the Japanese.

They Japanese had planned this for sometime and the American knew nothing about it. They couldn't film the Japanese ships, although they knew that they had gone, but they didn't no where.

It has also got a love story as well.

The love story has been based around 2 young boys, who when they were little loved to play and pretend they were in the war fly planes. One day one of the young boys fathers came home and left his plane in there garden, with the keys in, and of course they young boys go in and they plane starts to take off. Only slightly.

Then it goes onto when they are in the army and they have been trained properly to fly the planes. They had to go for a medical, but one of the young men (now) can't see properly so his friend (which is they other young man) tries to help him by reading out the eye test behind him. He manages the get the nurse to pass him and they fall in love.

But one day he gets sent on a private mission and has to leave his girlfriend behind, he write to her all the time, and sadly she finds out that he has got shot down when out flying. Everybody thinks he is dead, so his other friend get friend with his girlfriend, this is about 3 mths after he was shot down.

They sleep together and she get pregnant to his friend (Danny he is call) and the other chap in the film who was shot down is called Rave.

Then she gets a letter from Rave to say he is still alive and he is coming back to see her, and Danny isn't aware of this, and one day he turns up.

He isn't happy that Danny has stolen his girlfriend and they fight and drive off in Danny's car, to hopefully sort it out. They fall asleep in the car, and when they wake up they have found that the war has started and Pearl Harbour is under attack. They one thing is all the boats and planes apart from a small section have all been destroyed. So Danny and Rave go and managed to get 2 fighter planes ready and fuelled to help shoot them down.

They managed to shoot as many down as possible and receive a medal of bravery, and Rave & Danny are now speaking, but not friends, as Rave sits and watches Danny with the girl he loves.

They are them sent a another secret mission but this time together and the planes run out of fuel and they have to do an emergency landing, and Danny is shot by the Japanese and killed. Danny's girlfriends now get back with Rave and Danny's little boy who they named Danny.

This is extremely sad and every-time I watch it I cry.

I see you've posted this as a DVD review, but you've not mentioned the DVD features. Are there any extras? If so, what are they and are they any good? If you add to this, or if you change it to be posted as a "Film Only" review, which can be done by accessing "edit review" above the review and changing the drop down menu under the "Which format are you reviewing?" question at the bottom, please let me know and I'll re-rate.

Bit too much plot (and you've given away the ending, which is not a good idea!) and not enough opinion....
