I not really a romance film kind of person, unless the film is really inspirationally good. For instance, i did not enjoy the titanic, it went on for ages, and i felt like i was trapped on a boat myself.
This film is about two little boys who grow up best friends (ben affleck and Josh Hartnett) they both love flying planes and go into war preparation for World War 2.
The film is from the American perspective of the War, and in that respect i find it interesting. It's interesting to find that they went through a different kind of hell with Pearl Harbour.

It really is a good watch, and you can watch it over and over again. There are some parts to this film that really get me, and the acting is spot on, even from Ben Affleck who i dont usually agree with.
The special effects are also superb. The war is made to look a real and evil as it could of been and the soundtrack is one to look out for too.
I love films that have an element of realism or a real life motive, and this is definately one of them.
...is about the bombing of Pearl Harbour, which was attacked by the Japanese.
They Japanese had planned this for sometime and the American knew nothing about it. They couldn't film the Japanese ships, although they knew that they had gone, but they didn't no where.
It has also got a love story as well. The love story has been based around 2 young boys, who when they were little loved to play and pretend they were in the war fly planes. One day one ... ...the war has started and Pearl Harbour is under attack. They one thing is all the boats and planes apart from a small section have all been destroyed. So Danny and Rave go and managed to get 2 fighter planes ready and fuelled to help shoot them down.
They managed to shoot as many down as possible and receive a medal of bravery, and Rave & Danny are now speaking, but not friends, as Rave sits and watches Danny with the girl he loves.
They are them ...
