As I mentioned in one of my previous review - It is difficult thing right now to create original movie nowadays.
The John Woo movie - Paycheck is an adaptation of science fiction writer Philip K. Dick's short story.
Story
Ben Affleck plays Michael Jennings who is a sort of technologist/engineer and most of his jobs are confidential. Because of that his memory is partially removed. Next job, next high technology research and all he has are big Paychecks. One day his all friend Eckhart offers him to work on a secret project for his company (Allcom) for three years and in exchange Jennings will get shares of his company which will be worth a minimum 10 millions dollars. After 3 years when he woke up he found that he signed away this paycheck worth 92 millions dollars. He had only an envelope with some personal belongings. Each of them has very important thing to do in his nearest life and action starts. Obviously to find out rest you will have to watch this movie yourself
Soundtrack of this movie is really good, DVD is full of extra features. Paycheck is a movie full of breathe taking special effects and turns in action. Has a world known cast with Ben Affleck on top of it. Personally I do like this movie and from time to time I watch it with a pleasure. There is something in this movie that I can not get bored with. It is a good film and I can highly recommend it to all audience. There is no senseless violence which is very important like for me. Happens a lot of time when it damages whole movie. Fortunately not this time. So if you are looking for a good movie with a plot never seen before and a good cast simply buy or order it now. I have paid for my DVD about 3 pounds from Amazon.
