Harrison Ford who playes a former CIA anyalyst Jack Ryan gets caught up in a IRA gun fight were jack kills some of the IRA men , one of the men is Sean beans brother. The hit on the royal family by the IRA ia hard hitting in this particuler scene.

Sean Bean who playes one of the IRA gunmen ( Miller) escapes police custudy and jack does not belive that he will be a target untill his wife Archer and daughter Thora are nearly killed in a cer crash caused by the IRA shooting at the car.

Now Jack has to return to the CIA to find Miller and end it, and to help his family be safe.

There are several scenes which are filmed well in this one when the CIA show the inside to tracking the IRA when they are in the daylight with salttalight but the only problem is the IRA seems to know what time the satlight is going to take pictures.

The last section of this film is climactic boat chase with Jack and Miller, the rain is falling heavenly and each have a boat going at such a fast pase that the fight scene you may start to worrie weather Jack will survive.Harrrison ford performance is great the cat and mouse cahse between him and Miller intensives and the imotinal family events add to the dramatic story.

I loved watching this film there no no moment in this film were i was boerd and deffently one to have had a dvd.The villien IRA Miller Played by Sean Bean was played out as such a nasty piece of work . All ends well for Jack and the family and the end scence with Jack and his family leaves you guessing for the answer of his wife secound child weather its a boy or a girl so this film does have the action , loving moments , suspence, and one to watch again.
