Advantages: Funny. Entertaining. Enjoyable. Disadvantages: Victoria Woods' acting!
fabulous, and totally give Victoria Wood some high praising. She is, along with the greats John Sullivan, Jennifer Saunders, one of the best British comedy screenwriters, and she really doesn’t let down here at all.
If you’ve enjoyed any of Victoria Wood’s programmes, you’ll adore this. The same cast are in it (excluding Jim Broadbent, and a few others!) I would highly recommend it to anyone. It’s suitable for child viewing, and I’m sure they’ll laugh here and there. It is pure brilliance at it’s best!

As Usual, with these sorts of films, it’s really difficult to get hold of the DVD and VHS. I’ve managed to track down the VHS on Amazon for £19.00, but I still can’t seem to find the DVD. The VHS is pretty expensive, but it’s ...

Characters have been introduced over the years, and these characters have created more stories and antics for children to follow. As can be seen Postman Pats son was not introduced into the cartoon until ten years after it was first aired. Modern day cartoon episodes strongly feature Postman Pat as a family man.

Advantages: Great for toddlers Disadvantages: bit too short
I used to love Postman Pat as a child,. so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw a newer version on TV. My Son (3) also seemed delighted, and that's why we decided to get a Postman PatDVD. Postman Pat Clowns around consists of 3 episodes, each around 15-20 minutes long. All 3 episodes are entertaining, and my son's enjoyed watching this DVD over and over and over. The only slight niggle is the length, which comes in at just under an hour. To me, the DVD could do with being longer, as my son also finds it too short, and so Postman Pat has to go on again straight after it's just finished. I don't think I'd pay over £4 for it, because of the length. However, one very good thing about the DVD is that there are no childrens' TV ads at the beginning to sift through or skip, it's just straight onto the menu. All in all, it's good to see Pat ...

DVD Description
The irresistible teaming of Victoria Wood and Julie Walters returns for this drama centring on two long-lost sisters who discover they have nothing in common but a shared past. Having drifted apart, the lives of sisters Pat and Margaret couldn’t have turned out more differently. Pat has become a successful actress and star of an American soap, while Margaret works as a waitress at a transport cafe. When Pat and Margaret are reunited after 27 years, it’s a culture shock to the both of them; Pat is embarrassed by how her sister has let herself go, while Margaret isn’t ready for the limelight she’s thrust into, after being exposed in the media as the superstar’s sibling.
