...dvd? This is the one....This is the player that started the UK DVD revolution. There were other DVD players before it of course but this one changed the face of our film watching habits. It was cheap, its picture quality was beyond anything that the public had seen on video but best of it it was MULTI-REGION........Prior to the 709 to get most players to be multi-region you had to get them "fiddled" with internally. That meant some YTS boy was gonna take your £250-500 piece of electronics apart and stick his grubby hands inside it! Now all you had to do was press some buttons on a remote control and DVD nirvana was yours....Watching films before they were even out at the cinema and all for £12-14.... The thing is the Samsung was actually a pretty good DVD player in itself even without the multi-region hack. Its been surpassed now... Read review

A person barred from casino's wanting to pass on his tips in his underground poker school." So, of course, I put 2 and 2 together thinking DVD + secret poker school by the best poker player = the best poker DVD saying all the secrets of poker, how to beat the casinos, etc. Later on, it says these are the things featured on the DVD: The Basic Principles of Texas Hold 'Em Hand Rankings Calculating your Potential Hand How to Bet to Win Advanced Bluffing Skills The Basic Principles of Texas Hold 'Em Now, for the absolute beginner, it does tell you all the different poker hands etc, but any book or even poker website on the internet could tell you that. Advantages: Great for laughs! You can sing along too!

......put on this fabulous DVD of the best bits from the Smack the Pony television programme. If your a big fan of sketch shows like Little Britain, The Catherine Tate Show and Green Wing in particular you should buy this DVD. If you a fan of female comedians...buy it! There is not really a story to follow, just loads of hillarious sketchs. Once you have watched it a few times, the songs (such as "its cold outside, its even colder when you get inside") they will be stuck in your head for years. My friends and I walk down the streets singing along to them and just laugh at the funny looks we recieve! It is also refreshing to see females taking the lead in a comedy dvd and the males the back seat. Always great for when your feeling a bit down, just stick this on and laugh your little cotton socks off! I would shop around for the DVD... Read review
