I'm a happy housewife, looking after my husband and 2 young sons. I'm addicted to Ebay and facebook and love to settle down at night watching a movie.

I'm not a huge fan of love stories so was a little reluctant to see this (I wanted to see Gerard Butler in a completely different role to the one he played in 300). I was pleasantly surprised by this film which has been adapted from the best selling book. Fantastic stoyline with superb performaces by the leading actors - not forgetting the brilliantly played supporting roles by Harry Connick Jnr, Kathy Bates & the Irish bloke who plays William!
It tells the tale of how Hillary Swanks character loses her husband (Butler) to a brain tumour. On her 30th birthday she receives the first of many pre-written letters from her dead husband (which he arranges to be sent after his death) which takes her on a funny and heart warming trail which eventually leads her to finding love again.
Anyway, this is a must see movie which particularly pulled at my heart strings after losing somebody I loved 10 years ago. I was in tears through half of it!
9/10 film

Advantages: An amazing storyline, sweet, cute, sad everything you want in this kind of film! Disadvantages: The changes from the book...I wouldn't watch after just reading the book!!
