This is the story about a man that appears to have everything, a lovely wife, children, a nice home, good job and the proverbial white picket fence. He receives news that an old friend of his (Robert Downey JR.) has become ill with Aids, so he goes to Los Angeles to visit his friend that he hasn’t seen for five years.
Once he gets there, he meets a lady in a bar (Natassja Kinski), who get talking and wind up getting a hotel room… need I say more? No more said about the incident.
At his sick friends bedside, he meets up with an old friend that he hasn’t seen for a long time, then his wife walks in… yes… it’s his one night stand. Now that his adultery is staring him straight in the face, his guilty conscience makes him see his life from a different perspective.
There’s some twists and slides, it’s quite amusing at the end of the movie when it shows that Wesley gets together with his one night stand, and his ex-wife gets together with Natassja’s ex-husband. Nothing more than couple swapping.
