Farah Khan's over the top romantic drama might be entertaining for many, but not for me! To me, Farah khan is the ultimate commercial director, who knows what audiences like to see in a film. Her films follow the most cheesy formulas and who better than Shahrukh khan to draw the audiences into the theater.
The film is about Om who is an extra in the film industry who admires film actress Shanti, and is killed in an incident.Years later, he is reborn and somehow gets into the mix of things and rediscovers the mystery behind the murder.Sounds stupid/weird? Let me tell you it is!!
The story is a complete let down and nothing else can save the film from going down.Farah khan is a popcorn director, hardly making her presence felt(other than the songs ofcourse!she is obviously brilliant in terms of choreography). The cast does a fine job in overacting their parts. It is only Arjun Rampal who puts in a stellar performance here.
This is a larger than life typical bollywood film with song and dance, embellished with melodrama at its peak!
Watch it if you have nothing better to do,or for having a big laugh at the sheer stupidity of such a film!
