Advantages: Great viewing for all the family Disadvantages: none
Well, it had been a long break since the last Doctor Who and bringing it back in the 21st century would always be a risk, but with all the modern special effects tricks available the new series should make interesting viewing.
*The first episode, Rose, sees the doctor (Christopher Eccleston) rescuing Rose (Billie Piper) from the dreaded shop dummies in a department store on their very first meeting.
The Doctor is on Earth hunting down an Alien creature, 'the Nestene', who is in control of all the plastic on earth. then when the shop dummies come alive and begin to attack people in London the Doctor and Rose have to stop the earth being taken over by this thing.
As an opening episode it was well written with an easy to follow story line for the return of the Doctor. The minimal use of special effects making the episode more ...

Doctor Who ? Series One
Who?
If you haven?t heard of doctor who then I have no idea where you?ve been! However this could be due to be obsession with the doctor. Doctor who is a British production which is broadcast on the BBC and has been since 1963 inconsistently. Sadly I wasn?t around when doctor who first came out and I started watching it when series1 first came out. So after 16 whole years (apart from the one off movie) the doctor returned in 2005 with Series1 of what ended up being a very successful series and fortunately resulted in many more series.
MAIN CHARACTERS
The DoctorDoctor Who had been around for so long that this doctor would be the ninth one. Christopher Eccleston was the lucky actor who took up this role and for the entire series he played it wonderfully. His acting ...
Advantages: Best comedy ever!!!! Disadvantages: Not many extras, but hey, what more could you possibly want
THE best comedy series ever created is my honest opinion. There are very few actual laugh out loud comedy programmes however all seven series of this fabulous box set are incredibly funny. The family consists of Delboy (the ultimate cockney geezer), his brother Rodney (the ultimate dipstick), and either grandad in earlier series or uncle Albert in later series, and of course their friends including Trigger and Boycie. As far as british comedy goes, I would go as far as saying this is unbeatable, from the moment you begin watching you will fall in love with the loveable rogues and follow their journey through the years as they try absolutely every scam in the book to make a fast buck. You could also watch these episodes over and over again which suggests how good this is. The box set is a must have for any fan out there. ...
