Disadvantages: Not many extras, but hey, what more could you possibly want

THE best comedy series ever created is my honest opinion. There are very few actual laugh out loud comedy programmes however all seven series of this fabulous box set are incredibly funny. The family consists of Delboy (the ultimate cockney geezer), his brother Rodney (the ultimate dipstick), and either grandad in earlier series or uncle Albert in later series, and of course their friends including Trigger and Boycie. As far as british comedy goes, I would go as far as saying this is unbeatable, from the moment you begin watching you will fall in love with the loveable rogues and follow their journey through the years as they try absolutely every scam in the book to make a fast buck. You could also watch these episodes over and over again which suggests how good this is. The box set is a must have for any fan out there. ...

Friends! Series 7, Disc 1

Advantages: Its Friends
Disadvantages: The DVDs are a marketing scam

the extortionate amount they want for this, It would look pretty nifty on the shelf. So anyway, about Series 7 - its the one where Monica and Chandler finally get engaged and married, and Rachel gets pregnant to Ross. Disc 1, comes either as part of a 3 disc box set, that costs only £16.99 on play.com (bargain) or as a single 4 episode disc, for £11.99 on play.com - this is blatantly a way to try and get you to fork out for the box set, cos whos going to buy 6 individual discs for £11.99 each when the box set is only £16.99? The individual discs come with special features, such as a directors cut of the episode on the reverse, so you get to see longer versions of the normally 22 minute long episodes, which is good for a few extra laughs. Doesnt quite make up for the price though, which is probably as high as it is since by this point the cast ...

The Young Ones DVD - Series 1

Advantages: Awesome episodes - a classic t.v. sitcom produced to be as the original was
Disadvantages: not sharper image, no extras

leg from the morge where he brought it home from one of his classes to write an essay on it. He decides to strap it to the front of his car instead in the 1st episode! The DVD is a simple set up and plays striaght on to the episodes, you can select play all, or view one by one. It contains the whole of series one of the young ones. The episodes are as follows; 1. Demolition. This is the first one ever and we see an intro duction to all the characters, including the landlord who has various other roles throughout the series. The basic plot appart from setting up and introducing characters is that the guys are living in their accomodation they have done for some time when one day they recieve a letter from the council informing them that their house is to be demolished. Naturally Vyvyan throws a tantrum and decides to beat them to the job ...
