DVD Description

David Basner (Tom Hanks) is on a winning streak. He's a young, successful Chicago ad executive with two lovely women (Bess Armstrong and Sela Ward) vying for his attention. But things go awry for him when his parents (Jackie Gleason and Eva Marie Saint) decide to call it quits after 35 years of marriage. David then finds himself caught between his role of nursemaid to his father, and confidant to his mother. Long gone from the nest, David discovers that his parents are more complex than he had believed, and he gains a new appreciation of them in the process. This touching comedy/drama from director Garry Marshall (PRETTY WOMAN) contains Gleason's final film performance.

Not the best, but good
Review of Me, Myself And Irene (Wide Screen) by  Neomace

Advantages: Passes time
Disadvantages: Cost moeny could do summat better

...I saw the film yesterday, not the best ive ever seen i must say, but it is worth watching if you have nothing else to do, some of the jokes are good, fairly common but the film drags on for too long with a fairly pathetic story line. Jim Carrey can do far better than this, with films like the mask behind him, i hope this is one he will be missing off his c.v. Depending on how much it is to go into your cinemas dpends on how much i rate the film. It cost me £3.50 and thats wasn't too bad, if its less than £2.50 go see it, any more and wait for the video.... Read review

average
Review of Super Troopers (Wide Screen) by  gangster123

Advantages: few funny parts
Disadvantages: not a very good storty line

...This movie was an average movie it had some funny parts invloved but nothing very special and really funny, but then again the story line to this movie was not that brillant but still i watched it intill the very end and it passed some time by. The jokes in the film were common, this is not a very good film but mayb its worth a watch if you like this sort of movie, i myself would not pay to watch this again but if it was on tv i would watch it. Actors in this film made thier selfs looks like fools but suppose thats part of the film and makes it more enjoyable really. If your into comdeys then u may want to buy this film but you wont find it the best by a long way.... Read review
