I had to buy it, as it is one of those films that you have to watch over and over, this film and others like Some Like it Hot, classics. It is a great family film; it is about a businessman who is accused of being a secret agent by some people who then try to hunt him down. This tale I laced with romance, but for and male readers don’t let this put you off.
I just purchased North by Northwest on DVD at a bargain price of £11.49, only 50p more than it cost to buy on video! If you like this then you will love Rear Window and To Catch a Thief, all Alfred Hitchcock classics that you have to see.

I agree, this film is a true classic. Alfred Hitchcock was a genius and Cary Grant is a great actor. My favourite Hitchcock film of all time though has to be Vertigo. Good op. Jo :@)
