Advantages: salon sleek hair in no time Disadvantages: none so far
and the great thing is my hair stays straight until I wash it again. When I used to use my old straighteners, my hair would be wavy again within a few hours. My GHD's are slimline and ideal for mid-length hair. However you can also get wide-plate ones (for long hair) and compact ones (for short cropped styles.) GHD also do a set for men.
I've had my GHD's for eight months now and they are still as good as new. The box that mine came in also contained an instruction manual and that was all. However you can get GHD's that have all sorts of extras included, including heat-proof mats, product samples and carry-cases. You can also get different colours, my set's black but you can also get pink and red that I've seen and probably a lot more colours besides.
I would definitely recommend GHD- however I wouldn't advise buying them from your local salon ...
Advantages: Lovely colour, lovely shine Disadvantages: Cannot lighten dark hair.
So you must have gathered I'm writing a review On The L'oreal Casting Creme Gloss. I used the colour * 360 blk cherry. My hair is Naturally Dark brown, nearly black so my hair didn't exactly get lighter
Okay, So i wake up one morning I'm sick of my hair, I was sick of the sight of the same old hair. I wanted to give my hair some ''Umth''. So i told my friend, now she recently got her hair coloured with L'oreal casting creme gloss ''Plum''. She totally recommended this product to me. I was thinking great here we go.. Another high priced home kit. She whisked me off in her car to Asda to get One. Now i was highly amazed by the lovely colours this range came with.
I Purchased mine from Asda, It was about £5 exactly. You can get it cheaper i think in Boots and super-drug but i don't know, You'll have to go on a little bargain hunt ...
Advantages: Heat in seconds, Can straighten and curl, really work. Disadvantages: The initial price.
they had. They said it would cut my salon visit time in half. Oooh, yes please! And they were right. So for about six months I would regularly go and get my hair straightened whenever I was going someone special. But the problem was I was getting so frustrated in between and not being able to reproduce the same results at home.
So I decided to get some for myself. They looked easy enough to use. My salon was selling them for about £100, so I looked online for any cheaper.
At the time Ceramic plate straighteners were more or less unheard of. So this meant there was not much competition and prices could be high. I paid about £85 for mine. Although high, the way I looked at it, and still do, is that each salon visit was costing around £25-£30, so just by using my straighteners three or four times I had got my monies worth.
That was ...

DVD Description
Nora (Jenifer Lewis) runs a neighbourhood hair salon where hair takes a backseat to gossip, romantic problems, and even the occasional fight. Besides being the boss, Nora also is also a motherly figure for her employees--stargazing Clo (Tamala Jones), driven Lilleana (Tatyana Ali), and sexually confused Devin. Bobby Brown and Lil' Kim make cameos in this knowing comedy in which high drama meets hyper hair.
