This is a great DVD with fun stories of Enid Blytons classic little toytown character Noddy.
I was given a Noddy Video and this DVD by my sister whose own kids had outgrown it and my kids love it.
The DVD is all computer animation and the graphics are really good.
This DVD has 9 stories in total,
The Goblins stop Watch...The goblins have found a stopwatch that stops time and everybody else in its tracks. They are free to roam toytown helping themselves to whatever they like after having frozen everybody...but they didnt get Noddy, can he save toytown?
Mr. Sparks and the broken clock...the Noon day clock show no longer happens as the toytown clock is broken. Can Mr.Sparks, the mechanic, fix it to get it to work the way it used to?
Noddy on the Move..Noddy decides he want to move his little house for one to a new location. Will he be happier next door to Tessie Bear and her chickens? or as Mr. Sparks's new neighbour? or right in the middle of the town square? Big Ears doensnt think so.
The Flower Theif..Noddy is growing 10 beautiful flowers that he intends to give to Tessy Bear, but somebody is stealing them. Mr Plod gets in on the case of 'The Missing flowers'. Can he solve the mystery?
Mr Plod and the jailbird..The rooster has broken the law and has been thrown in jail. Now there is no morning as there is no rooster to 'Cock a doodle do' the sun up in the morning. Mr Plod has to decide whether he can release the jailbird or leave toytown in darkness forever.
Shelf Help..Big Ears decided he need to teach Noddy a lesson in doing things for himself a bit more instead of relying on him for everything. So disguised as Mr. Sham he gets Noddy to think for himself and try to put a shelf together.
The goblins and the Invisible Paint..With a big thirst but no money to buy drinks, the goblins get Mr Sparks to agree to split his profit with them if the lucky charm they give him brings him more business! Then they set about painting things with invisible paint and putting them in the road to cause accidents. Will Mr Plod work it out and put the naughty goblins behind bars where they belong?
What Strange Weather...Toytown is very lucky that they have lovely weather almost all of the time. Until it starts raining eggs and milk. A reward is offered by Mr. Plod for anyone who can solve the case of 'The strange weather day' and Tessie Bear is also offering a reward for anyone who can find her missing milk churn.
Noddy and the Treasure Map...Sly and Gobbo, the naughty goblins, con Noddy into buying a treasure map so that he and Bumpy Dog can go on an adventure. After being led into the dark woods and finding nothing but Big Ears collecting mushrooms he decides (with Big Ears help) to get his own back.
Many other toytown characters feature other than the ones mentioned above such as Mr Jumbo, Master Tubby Bear, Clockwork Mouse, Dina Doll, Miss Pink Cat to name but a few.
Unfortunately one of the kids got hold of this DVD and snapped it in half! I will definately be getting a replacement and will probably buy more to build a collection. Mine are absolutley glued when it goes on. Having looked around on the internet you can get it new from around £11. There is always the second hand option to get it much cheaper from somewhere like ebay.
There is one thing that is quite confusing and that is Mr. Sparks. In the video he has a london accent but in the DVD he has suddenly turned Scottish! Although the little ones havent realised this.
