...Even as a huge Van Damme fan, I cannot find it in myself to come close to liking this movie. All Van Damme has going for him is his best movies are entertaining, never well written or acted. Double Team is not even entertaining. It is contrived, full of holes, and mindless. Full of horrible jokes/puns/one liners that are nonsensical and embarrassing, Rodman's addition to the film is laughable, but not even in a good way. Rourke probably didn't think he could've sunk lower before he did this film. He did. Aside from Black Eagle and No Retreat No Surrender (both of which should hardly count), this may be Jean Claude's worst film...

Advantages: Something to watch if you're bored Disadvantages: boring, lifeless.
...The film cover states: 'When Terror is alive....evil never dies'. Bram Stokers The legend of the mummy 2 is a typical horror film, nothing more nothing less. Starring Jeff Peterson and Trent Latia, and directed by David Decoteau, the film is rated 18.
The film concentrates os six students and a tutor, who are spending their holidays in some isolated compound. With conveniently enough an Aztec mummy!

His first victim is the tutor, who convinently happens to be working late. As she is stabbed manically to death, the rest are completely oblivious to the fact. And no one hears her screams for the obligatory thunder storm is raging.
The mummy...

Advantages: True storyline, good cast of characters Disadvantages: A bit boring in places
...I decided to go and see Enemy at the Gates (in a true story about a farm boy who became a hero to the Soviet people - his rifle is on exhibit even today).
The film relayed excellently the situation the city of Stalingrad, under seige from the German Third Reich and 5 minutes from surrender. It shows the choice of the Red Army soldiers, go into battle and fight the nazis and die in the process, or retreat from battle and get shot for cowardice. This is the story of one man who gave a nation hope (through the army newspaper) that probably swung the war in the Red Armys favour.
I thought all the actors were well cast and did an excellent job of portraying their characters.
The only thing what bothered me was that from my point of view I found the film very good, but also a bit boring in places.
If you have seen Saving Private Ryan...
