The front of the DVD is white; the text is in quite a funky pink colour, with a big picture of all four of the characters laughing. The back of the dvd consists of the usual rundown of the plot, including various quotes from newspapers an example of one is "warm, life-enhancing, funny and often bitter-sweet comedy" Daily mail ( I have to admit its very fitting.)The box slides out of its cover to reveal an identical fold out box, housing the 3 CD's on the back is a index of each episode giving the name of each chapter (very handy if just wanting to watch parts of dvd) included on the disks are 9 episodes, a making of documentary, a tour of the set, and some out takes, theses are really nothing special same as is included on most dvd's now. I personally don't really make the effort to watch them but this is personal choice.
This dvd is rated 15 and I can see why when I watched the dvd. The program follows around four young women 3 nurses and a health care assistant, I don't want to give away too much of the plot, but lets just say it deals with lots of men problems, as a woman myself I am aware that this amount of man trouble can happen. There are some sex related story lines, which does involve a lot of detail hence the 15 rating. Theses women also deal with work related problems and as it is set in an NHS hospital this is where much of the comedy is at its best, some of the medical story lines are very true to life (I work in a hospital) however some are a little far fetched. Some references to drugs are also included in the dvd. I cannot fault the comedy factor in this series some of the jokes can be very crude, however I have that kind personality that it fits just perfectly with me. This is a very girly series so tend to watch it away from the boyfriend, however my dad watched one episode and he was hooked (not quite sure what that says about my dad though), so all in all I was very please with my purchase, only thing is I watched them so quickly all my fun was over too soon. However I enjoyed it so much I went out and bought the 2nd series, hears to a few fun nights in watching yet more naughty nurse fun….
